Copper is one of the oldest metals used by mankind can be found in nature in a directly usable metallic form and it was also the first metal used in casting some 6,000 years ago. Copper has a dark orang pinkish color that slowly darkens over time, to retain its original color it needs to be polished regularly but we don't think that it's necessary as we think copper jewelry looks better when it has more of a rustic look like antique tribal jewelry. The copper that we use is a pure copper without any traces of nickel or lead and it's jewelry grade.
